What drives us at reHuman ?

We want to create places of economic value creation where human values are truly lived, regenerative business becomes a matter of course and a philanthropic commitment makes a real contribution to a better world. Because if the company is doing well, the people are doing well, the world will be doing well.

What exactly is meant by "philanthropic economies"?

In our view, companies have an inherent responsibility towards society and the environment, whose resources they manage directly or indirectly.

However, instead of greenwashing activism (via selective indulgence donations to advertising-effective institutions), we advise using the power of giving strategically in order to ignite entrepreneurial strength in the long term, which is ignited by real meaningfulness from all employees and stakeholders: Meaning in the pursuit of profit and increased efficiency in order to be able to give even more and create an additional benefit that directly makes an identifiable contribution to socio-ecological projects (possibly independent of the company's own products & services).

The result of philanthropic business: a positive impact on society and the environment. And a self-reinforcing motivation to draw from togetherness, the success of economic success and the joy of meaningful action and giving back.

What effects do you expect in the long term?

Through humane, philanthropic management - the principle of the donor cycle - companies lead themselves into a future worth living. Worth living within their own organization, worth living for the socio-ecological environment, which is not exploited by entrepreneurial success, but is regeneratively enriched and strengthened.

That's a contradiction: "doing good", reducing your profit through philanthropic activities and being (more) economically successful!

Where does the idea come from that there can't be both? Where exactly did we learn this? And much more importantly: what concrete experiences underpin this belief that it can't be? In any case, our conviction stems from our own experience, from the various roles we have held to date.

It is precisely when organizations behave "humanely" and generate meaningful, worthwhile effectiveness (="doing good in the world") that a natural commitment is generated in every member of the company to perform and make a real contribution to the (economic) success of the big picture.
